Day 1 marks the start of the qualifying event for the Nutrena/USDF Breeders Championship East Coast Series Qualifier and Final. Enjoy a full day of Breeding Division competition, including the popular Individual Breed Classes and the Parade of Breeds.

These special classes showcase horses competing against others of the same breed. Judged in-hand at the walk and trot on the triangle, each horse is evaluated on three criteria: 60% movement, 30% conformation, and 10% general impression. Open to horses of all ages.

Kingsview Partners Dressage at Devon Parade of Breeds, presented by Select Breeders Services (SBS)
Parade of Breeds, presented by Select Breeders Services will take place at the conclusion of the classes (usually late afternoon/evening), at which time the winners of each class are invited back into the Dixon ring as a group to receive a special rosette. The announcer will share a short description of the history or highlights of each breed.

Day 2 the Breeding Division continues with the 2026 qualifying event for the Nutrena/USDF Breeders Championship East Coast Series Qualifier and Final.

Materiale Classes (Nutrena East Coast USDFBC Final)
Horses are ridden in groups and judged on their movement and potential as dressage prospects. Horses aged 3, 4, and 5 are eligible to enter.
Young Horse/Sport Horse Classes (Nutrena East Coast USDFBC Qualifier)
Horses are shown at the walk and trot on the triangle. Judged for suitability to become dressage horses. Classes include fillies and colts of the current year, yearling Fillies, Colts & Geldings (born in 2025), 2-year-old Fillies & Colts (born in 2024), 3-year-old Fillies, Colts & Geldings (born in 2023), and 4-year-old Fillies, Colts & Geldings (born in 2022).
The top two horses in each class return for final judging in their respective divisions, where a champion is named. This includes the 2026 Foal Championship, where the Filly Champion, Colt Champion, and Young Horse Champion, sponsored by Triple Crown Nutrition, will be crowned.
Mature Horse/Breeding Classes (Nutrena East Coast USDFBC Qualifier)
Horses are shown in hand at the walk and trot on the triangle. Judged for suitability to produce dressage horses. These classes include 4-year-old and older maiden Mares, 4-year-old and older Broodmare, 4-year-old and older Stallions. The top horses in each class are eligible for championship judging, where a Mare Champion and Stallion Champion are named.
One of these will ultimately be crowned the 2026 Mature Horse Champion.

Day 3 the Breeding Division concludes with the Nutrena/USDF Breeders Championship East Coast Series Qualifier and Final. The Performance Division begins with the FEI Horse Inspection and young horse classes for 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-year-old horses.The evening features our highly anticipated Capital Square Masterclass with seven-time Olympian, Carl Hester.

Kingsview Partners Dressage at Devon is proud to host the Nutrena/USDF Breeders Championship East Coast Series Qualifier and Final. Classes include current year Foal Final, Filly Final, Colt/Gelding Final, 4-year-old Sport Horse Prospect, Mare Final, Stallion Final, and Materiale classes for 3, 4, and 5-year-old Championships.
National Young Horse Classes
Thursday afternoon in the Wheeler Ring we begin the transition to the performance show with the national young horses classes. These tests are specifically designed to show a young horse’s potential for dressage. A panel of judges will look at the athleticism, basic paces and general impression of the horse as a dressage prospect. General impression includes temperament, natural talent and conformation to become a high-level dressage horse. Overall performance is more important than the details of the test. This includes the cooperation with the rider, natural balance, willingness to perform, and willingness to collect. Classes include the USEF 4-year-old test, the FEI tests for 5, 6, and 7-year-old horses.

The evening begins with our crowd favorite Dressage Dance Off Competition followed by the Grand Prix qualifying classes as riders compete for a place in Saturday night’s finale.

Fearless Restaurants Dressage Dance Off
Be sure to join us for the fourth year of this fun competition which will be held on Friday evening before the Grand Prix classes.
Elite Grand Prix dressage riders “battling” to music will be sure to bring new meaning to competing under the lights in the Dixon Oval!
Imagine a head-to-head breakdancing competition – for horses.
Horse and rider combinations will duel against one another to contemporary music, with a panel of celebrity judges providing live commentary to determine the victor. The battle will consist of two rounds. Each round of battle will result in a winner who comes back for a final round, which will determine our 2026 Dance Off champion.

Day 5 is a full day of Performance Division competition, including the Intermediate 1, FEI Youth Tests, and U25 Grand Prix. The evening begins with the Grand Prix Special and culminates with Dressage at Devon’s premier event: the World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix Freestyle, sponsored by Kingsview Partners, where horse-and-rider combinations showcase their artistry, athleticism, and partnership in a spectacular competition under the lights.

Bring the kids any day, but especially on Sunday when they can enjoy Dressage Explorers for hands on activities, horse-themed adventures and family-friendly fun across the showgrounds.

NEW FOR 2026: DRESSAGE4KIDS™ $5,000 YOUTH CHALLENGE
The Dressage4Kids™ Youth Challenge celebrates the next generation of dressage athletes by recognizing excellence in both riding and horsemanship. Open to riders ages 14-18, the Youth Challenge combines scores earned in the Dressage Seat Equitation and Junior Handler classes to determine the overall Youth Challenge Champion.
The Youth Challenge Champion will receive a $5,000 cash award, with additional prizes awarded through 8th place, generously provided by the following sponsors who share our commitment to supporting and inspiring the future of dressage:
