The Dressage at Devon Breed Division is both a USDF Breeders Championship Series Qualifier and East Coast Final. Three days of competition features foals, young horses, and mature breeding stock from all breeds competing for a championship spot in the USDFBCS East Coast Final. Additionally, one day is dedicated to featuring Individual Breed Classes where horses of the same breed compete against each other.
Born in the USA is the only awards program of its kind in the country. It was developed to recognize and reward the achievements of sport horse breeders in the United States.
Eligibility – Open to horses and ponies of any breed who are conceived and foaled in the USA.
The overwhelming generosity of the sponsors has made it possible to award over $80,000 in prize money since the program began in 2003.
Sport Horse breed shows on the East Coast have joined in and in 2010 Born in the USA Breeders Awards were presented at shows from New York to Kentucky.
