Frequently Asked Questions

TICKETS 

1. Where can I purchase tickets? 
Reserved seat tickets are only available through our online box office at DressageatDevon.org.  

2. Can I go to Devon and buy my tickets?
General admission tickets are available at the door for $10 for adults. Ages 3-12 at $5/day and children under 3 are free..The Ticket Office is open only during the show. For questions prior to the show call 610-358-1919 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  

3. How can I select my seat location?
Seat selection is not available for our show. Seating locations are based on the date the order is paid via the website.   

4. What if I have special seating needs (wheelchair access)?
If you have special access needs, please include that in the comments section on the ticket order page.

5. Several of us will be meeting at the show, if we can’t select seats how do we sit together?
If you and your friends wish to sit together, the orders should be placed together.  

6. How do I get Main Grandstand seats?
Tickets should be ordered in April when the show opens online ticket sales. The Main Grandstand usually is full by early June. We fill the Main Grandstand then the other Grandstands in order of East 1, 2, 3.  

7. Are there any group discounts?
Limited discounts are available for groups over 10. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for instructions to buy group tickets.

8. How do I pay for tickets online?
Your credit card and check payments process through our website link to PayPal.  You may also use your existing PayPal account. All checks must be received within 7 days of the order.

9. If I buy tickets and then cannot attend can I get a refund?
Tickets are not refundable.

10. When can I expect to receive my tickets?
Tickets will be mailed starting July 16, 2016 in the order that the transaction was completed. All tickets are mailed to the address associated with the payment form.   

BOX SEATING

1. How does Dressage at Devon sell boxes?
Dressage at Devon follows a legacy renewal policy for our boxes. Current box holders have the right of first refusal on their boxes and relocation requests before any remaining boxes are made available to our waiting list. 

2. When will current box holders renew their boxes?
Box holders receive renewal instructions through an annual mailing in late May. The 2016 box holder renewal period will be from June 1 through August 5, 2016.

3. What size and price are boxes?
Our boxes seat six individuals in the main, east and lower south grandstands. The upper south grandstand boxes seat four people. Six seat boxes are priced at $475 and four seat boxes are priced at $395. 

4. Can I buy a box for just Saturday night?  
Boxes are not available for Saturday night only. All boxes are for the entire six days of the show Tuesday through Sunday.

5. What is included with boxes?
Box holders receive two tickets to the Saturday evening box holder cocktail party and six or four tickets (depending on box size) for Sunday morning mimosas. Additional cocktail party tickets may be also be purchased. 

6. Can I pre-purchase parking?
Reserved parking may be purchased for an additional $110 with the box renewal.

BOX SEATING WAIT LIST

1. When is the wait list notified of open boxes?
In late August, boxes not renewed are offered to the box wait list in order of time on the list and requested box size.

2. How long will I be on the wait list?
Our turnover rate is low and due to the changes in size requests and people withdrawing from the list it is not possible to estimate a time on the list.

PARKING

1. Where can I park?
Onsite parking is available for a fee on a limited basis. On street parking is also available on many surrounding streets.

1. What hours is the show open?
The show is open to the public:
Tuesday, September 27, 8 am to 8 pm
Wednesday, September 28, 8 am to 7 pm
Thursday, September 29, 7:30 am to 9 pm
Friday, September 30, 8 am to 10 pm
Saturday, October 1, 8 am to 10:45 pm
Sunday, October 2. 8 am to 6 pm 

2. When will the competition schedule be available?
The preliminary schedule will be posted on the website in August. This allows for general planning. Due to the entry process, the detailed schedule and exact times are not available until the time of the show. Please visit www.dressageatdevon.org/index.php/schedules for details.

3. When are the special exhibitions?
The exhibitions take place, during breaks Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Due to the nature of horse shows, exhibition times can only be approximate until the show. 

SHOPPING AND FOOD

Dressage at Devon offers some of the best boutique shopping there is. From jewelry to fine clothing – for the equestrian and non-equestrian alike – the Fall Festival features more than 90 vendors. Plus, a wide variety of great food ensures that there is a full day of fun.

ARE THERE SPECIAL ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS?

While many kids – especially horse-crazy ones – can find things to do every day, Sunday is extra special, feature many young riders, a new stick-horse competition (adults can enter too!), special clinics for the younger set and more.

IS THERE A LADIES HAT DAY?

It wouldn’t be Dressage at Devon without a Ladies Hat Day. This year it is taking place on Friday afternoon, September 30. All ladies with hats (no baseball caps please) will be admitted free on Friday.

WHEN ARE THE BREED/PERFORMANCE DIVISIONS?

The Breed Division begins Tuesday and runs through Thursday.
The Performance Division begins Thursday afternoon and ends Sunday evening.
