The 35th Anniversary 1975 - 2010
Dressage at Devon - CDI-W/Y/J has been the premier North American equestrian event since 1975. It combines world class dressage competition and the world's largest open breed show with the international Fall Festival shops and special activities for the entire family.
The historic and charming Devon Horse Show Grounds , located on US Route 30 just west of I-476 in Devon, Pennsylvania provide the ideal venue for this exciting event. The grounds include covered grandstand seating at the main Dixon Oval, a second performance arena, warm-up areas, extensive stabling and the tree-shaded lanes of the Festival area.
Dressage at Devon benefits Thorncroft Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Inc. , one of the oldest and largest therapeutic riding facilities in the nation. Thorncroft helps the disabled to improve balance, circulation, muscle tone and concentration, while enhancing self-esteem. Since 1991 Dressage at Devon has raised in excess of $1,000,000 for Thorncroft.

DAD Committee Positions Available! |
The DAD Committee has the following openings:
- Vice President – PR and Special Events
- All VPs should attend the general committee meetings and must attend the OMT meetings and/or conference calls. This represents roughly 2 meetings/month.
- Oversees the PR firm and reviews/approves all press releases prior to publication.
- Oversees Advertising
- Oversees souvenir stand and souvenir coordinator.
- Works with the graphic designer to produce the show program.
- Box Seating Sales (reports to VP Customer Relations)
- Includes the care and feeding of boxholders.
- Reserved Seating Sales (reports to VP Customer Relations)
- 35 Anniversary Party Coordinator (reports to VP Hospitality)
- The 35th Anniversary Party will be held in place of the GMO party on Friday night and should have a 70’s dance party theme.
- Advertising Coordinator (reports to VP PR and Special Events)
- Works with graphic designer and VP of PR/Special events to place ads in selected publications
- Parking Coordinator (Reports to VP Customer Relations)
- Coordinates reserved parking, paid parking and volunteer parking
- Wine Procurement (Reports to VP Facilities)

All you artists out there listen up. Dressage at Devon is holding a contest to pick our poster for the 35th Anniversary show in 2010!
Official Rules:
Entries must incorporate the 35th Anniversary and may be painting, drawing, digital artwork, photography or any 2d medium (sorry, no sculpture.)

Dressage Riders - make your dreams of Devon come true in 2010!
To celebrate our 35th Anniversary Dressage at Devon is changing the qualifying criteria for the 2010 show. Horse and rider combinations will submit their highest scores for the class level entered and they will be ranked to fill the class. Those with the highest scores will be placed in the class until filled. Minimum qualifying scores have been eliminated.
For those of you participating and/or joining us as a spectator we have plans to make our 35th Anniversary show the most exciting in our history. Stay tuned for announcements to be posted here!!!
